INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup plain coconut water (or more as needed)

  • 2 frozen bananas (previously peeled and sliced)

  • 1 cup chopped pineapple (frozen or fresh)

  • 1 cup chopped mango (frozen or fresh)

  • 2 cups spinach or kale

  • 1/2 avocado, sliced

WHY THESE INGREDIENTS ARE GOOD FOR SKIN:

  • Coconut Water: Coconut water is praised for its hydrating and moisturizing benefits for the skin. This is thanks to the abundance of natural vitamins and minerals found in the heart of the coconut.

  • Bananas: Bananas contain vitamins A and C, which are essential for healthy, youthful-looking skin. Vitamin A can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles, while vitamin C can help brighten and even out your skin tone.

  • Pineapples: Pineapples help the body synthesize collagen, which helps skin stay firm and flexible, and also contain vitamin C and amino acids which aid in cell and tissue repair.

  • Mangos: Mangos contain high amounts of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that support the body’s natural collagen production and prevent sun damage and premature aging.

  • Spinach: The Vitamin C in spinach is necessary to produce collagen, and the protein is used to produce new skin tissues.

  • Avocados: The oils in avocado can help keep your skin properly protected and minimize irritation and inflammation.
